This a non-catalog model Fernandes FSA-100 semi-acoustic made in 1979. What makes this model so unique is that rather than a set-neck like a typical 335, this guitar is a semi-acoustic with a through neck. The neck runs from the headstock through the entire length of the guitar down to the strap pin. The neck itself is a five-piece maple and mahogany laminate, with a rosewood fretboard and brass nut.

This model came in Brown Sunburst (FSA-100BS) and Cherry Red (FSA-100CR) finishes. I’ve been lucky enough to find one in each color. Pickups are L-104. As the back of the headstock on these indicates, these were hand made and they are indeed beautifully made.

The guitar appears to be all original and while it has some nicks and scratches, condition overall is excellent for its age. This guitar has been gone over completely and received a full setup with the relief (truss rod), action, intonation, pickup height, tail piece height all adjusted. Pots, switch and jack were cleaned, with the switch and one volume pot needing solder repair on connections. Frets were checked and polished. The guitar plays and sounds great - no buzzing or dead spots anywhere on the neck. Pickups sound fantastic through a good amp.

This guitar is located in the US and a non-original hard shell case will be included with it.

Offered at USD $3,000
