The LS-80 is the start of Tokai's high end models and as such are finished in lacquer. This guitar is all black and is absolutely stunning. I haven't seen as many in this finish.

This guitar is all original right down to the tuners. Electronics are all original, including its Gotoh PAF's, which are an excellent pickup and work great in this model.

Condition wise there are dings and chips including buckle rash on the back. Lacquer on the headstock is smudged in a few places and also around the strap pin at the bottom of the guitar.

The guitar has been gone through completely and in addition to a full setup, the frets were leveled, crowned and polished. Setup included setting the relief (truss rod), action, intonation, pickup height and tail piece height. Pots, switch and jack were cleaned as was the fretboard and the entire body. Relief at the nut was also checked.

The guitar plays beautifully and sounds fantastic with no buzzing or dead spots anywhere on the neck. The guitar needs nothing.

Really a gorgeous piece that's a pleasure to play.

The guitar will come with a non-original hard case, which if somebody purchases it quickly will be the Gibson USA case in the pictures.
