1985 Fender MIJ Contemporary Deluxe Stratocaster Original Owner

I purchased this guitar new in 1985 and it is all original, pickguard as never been removed, nor the neck taken off.  It is in immaculate original condition, but it has been played so there are some light scratches on the pickguard and I'm sure there is a ding and some scratches if you look hard enough.  Pictures show how nice this guitar is.  Guitar comes with its original hard shell case and original tremolo arm, with the screw off end that exposes a second hex wrench used to adjust the tremolo height when inserted just below the lower strap pin.

This guitar is model 27-4100, one of the deluxe models in an HSS configuration and  included a TBX tone pot, coil splitter switch, System II Tremolo, five way pickup selector and cam arm locking nut  that is also height adjustable.  Everything is all original, works as it should and is in excellent condition.

The guitar has a beautifully made Maple neck with Rosewood fretboard and features micro tilt adjustment at the neck mounting plate.  This guitar is a highly optioned model and is one of the first Fender badged Stratocasters to come out of Japan, showing Made In Japan on the headstock.  This guitar was made by Fujigen and perfectly demonstrates the high quality these original Made In Japan Fenders are so well known for.

The guitar is in fantastic condition, I am the only owner of this guitar and it represents an opportunity to get one of the very first MIJ Fender Strats sold in the United States.  Guitar plays and sounds fantastic with many tonal options capable with the HSS, coil splitter, five way selector and TBX tone control.  This is a Super Strat as Fender intended and includes some ground breaking innovations inspired by its Japanese builders.  If you want an all original MIJ Contemporary Strat, you won't do better than this.
