Tokai LC-100 Black Beauty - 1981

Very rare Tokai LC-100 BB, Black Beauty Custom. This was the top model LP Custom from Tokai during the golden age of vintage Made in Japan guitars.
As a top model the guitar features an Ebony fretboard with Mother of Pearl block inlays, waffle back tuners, fret edge binding, an all Mahogany body, and gorgeous jet black Nitro lacquer Finish. The body has 7-ply binding on the top and 5-ply binding on the back and headstock.
Vintage Japanese Customs with all Mahogany body and Ebony fretboard are extremely rare. On top of that this has a nitro finish, real mother of pearl markers and fret edge binding, which puts these early Tokai LC-100's in a class of its own and a model that is almost impossible to find.
All electronics appear original and unmolested, including its Gotoh PAF pickups, which sound really good in this guitar.
There are a couple of dings on the guitar and one of the tuners is bent, but overall condition is fantastic. It also has all its original case goodies, including warranty card reflecting the serial and model numbers.
Overall, a fantastic example of a very rare, high end Tokai from 1981.
