1982 YAMAHA SG 800S - Metallic Blue
This is an absolutely stunning 1982 Yamaha SG 800S in Metallic Blue. The bright blue metallic goes perfectly with its chrome hardware, dot neck and cream colored pickups and pick guard. This model only shows up in the Japanese catalogs for a short time, so it was likely a domestic Japan model and not exported. The SG 800S features a solid mahogany body, maple cap, set neck, rosewood fretboard, light weight bridge and push-push coil splitting tone pots.

The pickups feature Yamaha's tri-mount which not only allows height adjustment, but also its angle to keep the pickup parallel to the strings.
The guitar looks fantastic and is in mint condition with only the slightest of dings or scratches to be found anywhere on a guitar over 35 years old at this time. It is a stunning and rare vintage Yamaha SG.
