I came across an interesting section of an early 1980's Yamaha catalog I acquired with a batch of vintage material. The first several pages of this catalog were dedicated to showing how Yamaha consistently built such high quality instruments, from start to finish.
It makes for an interesting read, especially on the how the wood is seasoned for guitar necks. As you look at it, you can sense a culture of quality and pride of craftsmanship instilled across the business.
